The wind industry has a crucial role to play in achieving our climate targets and powering a cleaner future. For that, we want to see a real push for frameworks that enable the implementation of renewable energy. We are facing our last chance to scale up industry and build the infrastructure that will safeguard our futures.

To join forces towards this goal, Siemens Gamesa has joined the GWEC’s Global Wind Energy Manifesto for COP26, which calls on governments to take 8 concrete actions to accelerate the energy transition. In addition, we have joined the global campaign of GWEC Wind. Are you in?

In our social media we will count down to COP26 with a number each day that highlights the critical need for action on climate change and an agreement among participating nations to accelerate their action plans.

The time for action is now.
