Siemens Gamesa joins leading businesses in calling for more ambitious EU climate targets

Over 150 leading businesses in Europe have called on the European Union to set more ambitious climate ambitions as the continent seeks to recover from the coronavirus pandemic.
In a letter signed by 157 businesses from diverse sectors and including Google, Deutsche Bank, Unilever, Apple and Siemens Gamesa, they called for EU leaders to meet the at least 55% cut in emissions by 2030 established in the European Green Deal.
The public letter from these businesses underlined their desire to work with the EU to achieve these targets, battle the impacts of the pandemic, and drive a more green and resilient recovery from the crisis.
