What would you do if you lose control of your turbine?
When the previous contractor refused to share the log-in credentials for their PLC, our client could’ve lost control of their turbines. But we had anticipated such a scenario and created an alternate PLC software months in advance, helping them tackle their biggest hurdle with utmost confidence instead of uncertainty.

The prototype developed in our labs worked theoretically. So, as soon as we could get on-site, we were ready for the sprint to regain control over their assets.

In ten intense days, our engineers and technicians worked hard to verify and optimize the prototype on-ground, to then deploy it successfully across the entire fleet. All this from a remote sub-station... battling the harsh weather conditions around the clock with coffee, sandwiches, and a lot of code.

Our prior knowledge and experience of the Bachmann controllers were integral to connect and steer all the distributed controllers in different subsystems.

Soon, all the turbines were connected to our remote diagnostics center, propelling their performance, resulting in improved availability and business case certainty for our client.
We were able to develop a software solution that restored our customer’s independency from their previous contractor. This solution consisted of a new software installed on the existing hardware platform in the WTG. Thereby, we reduced the risks associated with changing an OEM’s controller, minimized implementation time and improved the WTG behavior significantly. It also enabled us to communicate with the PPC to efficiently manage reactive power, among other wind farm regulations.
